Project 01
Dacia-Renault
Responsible for designing Exterior and Interior Trims according to RENAULT standards on Dacia models as: Logan, Sandero, Duster, Lodgy, Dokker and special editions.
Responsibilities:

Design new parts or modify existing ones considering, the technical reasons, economic and car design aspects.

Improving the design, performance and cost of existing products.

Maintaining up-to-date the technical definitions and numerical layout, within the projects and making compositions management.

Preparing of presentations, sections, measurements, comparisons between parts.

Maintaining relations with the supplier and the architecture and mounting department during the development of new pats.

Creating or checking technical drawings according with Renault standards and regulations.

Keeping the relations with suppliers, making sure they respect all the deadlines for various milestones during projects.

Implementing already existing designs on new projects, or existing projects in new plants.

Conception design of prototype parts made in stereo-lithography (quickly prototype-powder filtering) and verifying them on mock-up vehicles.

Checking the parts from the suppliers with the Design department and making sure they respect all of our requirements in terms of functionality, shape, volume, colour and graining.
Project 02
Jaguar Land Rover
DESIGN ENGINEER for Bumpers & Grilles: May 2014 – December 2016
First assigned program was the replacement of the most iconic JLR product, the DEFENDER.
There were a lot of design changes of the A surface for this model that imposed a lot of CAD work from ourselves as the Bumper Assemblies had around 30 parts. There were 5 A-Surface releases that we work on, all significant different from one to another so and we had to redesign the concept of those parts with a fresh A-surface every time.
We gained the ability to work side by side with our client Lead Eng. and to design in real time what they need, sometimes altering the parametric model on the spot.
For a few weeks we have been asked to provide CAD support for another department and so I've got the opportunity to work on underfloor heat shields.
From January ‘15 we had been assigned to other 2 programs: Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. A lot more work to do but this were JLR’s top models, so we provide our top quality work proudly.
In April ’16, we have delivered a clever generic model using advance modelling technics (AVA- Advance Vehicle Architecture) for the scope of positioning the PDC sensors on the bumpers and creating all the PDC Brackets. This product was classified as the best for the year wining the invitation to present it to Body Engineering Town Hall event in May 2016.

Aston Martin
Senior Design Engineer for Interior Trims and NVH - December 2016 – June 2019
New challenge: providing top quality services for a luxurious company, with a different CAD system (Siemens NX), on a new vehicle area.
The hands-on approach from this company gave us day to day experience that beats any other environment our employess been to.
From the first sketch to debating and promoting our solution, to releasing and assisting the fitting of our parts we done our work with passion.
We have acquired the Data Coordinator access & knowledge which allowed usto fix and help errors for the CAD users across the large cabin interior team.
We have modelled and released engine and underbody Heatshields, Wheel Arch Liners, Interior trim NVH for both sport car and SUV and modelled the Load space for the SUV.
